The other week I read a bit of Huck Finn and I got up to this part where he discusses the concept of heaven, a “good place” and hell, a “bad place.” He hinted that he wanted to go to the “bad place” because he wanted some change, but if I talk anymore about this it’ll be too relevant to the book and missing the point. Essentially, they don’t directly mention the actual terms heaven and hell, but I’m a bright crayon and I saw what they did there. 

Huck asks Miss Watson if she thinks Tom Sawyer would be going to this “good place” only to have her basically imply, that he definitely wouldn’t. It’s the sweetest thing when Huck accepts the fact and is happy about it because he just wanted to be together with Tom.

I want a friendship like this.
